Man sustains broken jaw in Derby assault

We’re appealing for information after a man had his jaw broken during an assault in Derby.

The incident was reported to have happened at 12.40am on 20 October outside the Fat Cat bar in Friar Gate.

A 20-year-man was punched in the face, by another man, causing him to fall to the ground. The victim hit his head and lost consciousness for a few minutes before coming round.

He was then taken to hospital for treatment injuries.

We are keen to hear from anyone who has information about the circumstances of the incident.
