A cyclist was left with cuts and bruises after being assaulted by a pair of men walking two Labrador dogs.
The incident happened on the path that runs next to the Derwent close to the Travel Lodge hotel off Derwent Parade in Pride Park at around 5.30pm on Wednesday 22 September.
One of the honey coloured dogs ran in front of the cyclist causing him to fall off his bike – the two men then assaulted the cyclist leaving him with minor cuts to his face and bruising to his arm.
The two men are described as:
Man One – White, early 20s around 5ft 5ins tall, slim, short blonde/brown hair - wearing an all grey matching tracksuit, with a jumper style top.
Man Two - White, early 20s around 5ft 5ins tall, medium build, short brown curly hair - wearing dark blue jeans and a black top.
The pair of men were also with at least one woman who had long blonde hair.
Officers are keen to speak to two other men who helped the cyclist - as well as anyone who recognises the descriptions of the men.
