Woman arrested in connection with Spondon burglary and dog theft

A woman has been arrested in connection with a burglary in Spondon in August where three dogs were stolen.
The woman, who is aged in her 20s, was arrested by Devon and Cornwall Police last night (Friday 17 September) and is set to be questioned by officers.
We are also appealing for information to trace the owners of a young black and white Cocker Spaniel (pictured), who officers think may have been stolen from the Derbyshire or midlands area in May 2021. Anyone with information about the possible identity of the owners of this dog should contact Devon & Cornwall Police with reference 0839-17.09.2021.
Two Cockapoos and a Cocker Spaniel, named Elvis, Tony and Remy, were taken from Brookfield Farm, on West Road overnight between Tuesday 3 August and Wednesday 4 August.
A man aged in his 20s and from Derby who was arrested in the Kent area in August was released under investigation while enquiries continue.
