A man was taken to hospital after a serious assault in a city centre property.
Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to a property in Kings Mead Walk, Derby, at about 9.45 this morning.
A man was found in the address with a stab wound and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Our investigation is in its early stages but we would like to reassure people that we do not believe there to be any risk to the wider public.
