Plea to trace gold chain stolen from Swadlincote home

We’re releasing an image of a gold chain and appealing for information, after clothing and jewellery are reported to have been stolen in Swadlincote.

Several items are believed have been taken over a period of around a month from the property on Wood Street, while the homeowners hadn’t been present.

It was reported to us on Saturday 2 June, and the chain (pictured) is of sentimental value to the family, and they are particularly keen to see it returned to them.

We would like to hear from anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or with any information which could help with our enquiries.
