We’re releasing a CCTV image of a BMW as we appeal to trace the driver as part of our investigation into a fatal collision on the Pentagon Island in Derby.
The car, believed to be a grey 1 series BMW, was seen to pass by the scene, near to the entrance to Derbyshire County Cricket Club, just moments before, at 8pm on Sunday 12 November.
Officers are keen to speak to the driver as a witness who may have vital information that could help with our enquiries.
A 30-year-old man has been charged with causing death by careless driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision, failing to report a collision and causing death while driving unlicensed.
Fation Koldashi of Dorset Street, Derby appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 18 November, and was remanded to appear at Derby Crown Court in December.
