Enquiries into the death of a man at a house in Mackworth at the weekend are continuing today.
Emergency services were called to Chancery Lane just before 1.30pm on Sunday 12 November to reports a man had suffered serious injuries. He was found to have died at the scene.
The man’s next of kin is aware and is being supported by family liaison officers.
A man aged in his 60s who was arrested in connection with the investigation has been bailed pending further enquiries.
At this time, we believe there is no wider risk to the public and detectives are keeping an open mind as to the circumstances of the man’s death.
Officers are continuing with patrols in the area and if you have any concerns please speak to them.
Anyone who may have any information but hasn’t yet spoken to officers should contact us on the details below, with reference 23*700836:
