A joint police and fire investigation is taking place following a fire at a church in Alvaston, Derby.
We were called to reports of a blaze at St Osmunds Church on London Road just after 4.20am this morning, Monday 30 October.
No one is believed to have been injured in the fire, but damage has been caused to the building.
At this time the cause of the fire is not yet known but we do not believe the incident is linked to any other previous incidents.
We would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area around the time, or who may have any information which could help with our enquiries.
