Man assaulted in Ilkeston

We are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Ilkeston.

At around 9.30pm last night, an altercation took place on Derby Road in Ilkeston and a man was assaulted, who remains in hospital.

A 38-year-old man has been arrested and is in police custody.
