Investigations are ongoing after a man suffered serious injuries following an assault in Hatton.
We were called by East Midlands Ambulance Service after a man in his 20s was found with a serious head injury in Station Road at just after 12.30am on Sunday 11 August.
He was taken to hospital where he remains.
The assault is believed to have happened between the evening of Saturday 10 August and the early hours of Sunday 11 August.
A woman in her 20s has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. She remains in police custody.
