Detectives investigating reports of an assault in Normanton have issued a further appeal for information.
Officers were called to the junction of Pear Tree Road and Charlotte Street at just before 7.40pm on Sunday 23 June to reports a man had been injured.
The man had suffered a cut to his arm, and he was taken to hospital for treatment, and has since been discharged.
It is believed the man may have been approached near to the Shawarma 4 You takeaway on Pear Tree Road a few moments beforehand, and he was attacked with a knife on the corner of Pear Tree Road and Charlotte Street.
We would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious between around 7.15pm and 7.40pm that evening.
The incident is believed to be isolated with no wider risk to the public.
We would like to speak to anyone in the area around the time of the incident, or with any CCTV or dashcam or any information which could help with our enquiries.
