Two men have been arrested after an assault in a Derby park.
The incident happened in Arboretum Park, Normanton, between 3.30pm and 4pm yesterday (19 October) and saw the victim, a man in his 30s, assaulted which left him requiring hospital treatment for serious, but not life-threatening, injuries to his head and face.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the assault, a man in his 20s and another in his 40s, and they remain in police custody.
Detectives investigating the assault understand that a number of people were in the area and witnessed the incident and they are keen to speak to anyone who has not already come forward.
