Officers investigating a cannabis grow are appealing for any witnesses with dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
Officers from the Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team were out on patrol when they discovered the cannabis grow at a property in Burton Road, Midway.
Dashcam footage obtained by us shows a group of men parking close to the property in a white van – believed to be a Peugeot Partner – before entering the property.
They are then seen loading cannabis plants into the van before driving off.
The four men were slim, aged in their late 20s to mid-30s, white, and were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas during the incident which happened between 9.15pm and 10.30pm on Tuesday 14 January.
Since the incident officers have been following several lines of investigation, however, no arrests have been made as yet and we are now turning to the public for help with our investigation.
We are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to please come forward and contact us.
Of particular interest is anyone who has dashcam footage or CCTV who has not yet spoken to officers that covered between the Sainsbury’s Local and the Midway Inn pub on Burton Road between 9.15pm and 10.30pm on Tuesday 14 January.
Anyone who has footage or any information in relation to the incident, can you please contact us using any of the below methods, including reference 25*26194:
