Join us on Monday 26 April 2021, between 16:00-17:00, for an online Microsoft Teams event – hosted by the Derbyshire Black Police Association.
The Values Behind Faith event will provide an opportunity for you to learn more about the Sikh faith and understand some of its core values and tenants, which helps set a foundation for understanding the Sikh community. This event is ideal for those who are interested in increasing their understanding on Sikhism and how policing values align, or for those who are considering a career in the policing profession.
The session will be opened by Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Hardyal Dhindsa and led by Kartar Singh Bring, the UK’s first Sikh Lead Chaplain with over 15 years’ experience in community and interfaith relations representing Sikh issues at global interfaith conferences.
