Celebrating National Volunteers' Week

This week, we’d like to take time to recognise the incredible work of our police support volunteers, cadet leaders, and special constables.

As part of National Volunteers' Week, we are celebrating the hard work of the individuals that give their free time to assist police officers and staff in their operational duties, in many cases on top of busy day jobs.

We started the week by talking to Assistant Chief Constable Michelle Shooter, who works with our volunteers through the Citizens in Policing Team as part of her role in the Senior Leadership Team.
