This year we’ve already seen 20 people lose their lives on Derbyshire roads.
That’s why this August many police forces and partners are taking part in National Road Victim Month.
This is a time to remember those who have lost their lives on UK roads and highlight the importance of taking care when driving.
To help prevent more lives lost on Derbyshire’s roads, we’re running our Just a second campaign, which reminds motorists that it only takes a second for things to change when you’re driving, and that a second's decision could change the course of yours and other people’s lives.
We’re asking you to consider your actions when driving and take just a second to act responsibly.
