During Cybersecurity Awareness Month, learn from our experts about how to stay safe online.
As part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month in October 2024, our Cybercrime Unit and Derbyshire County Council’s Community Safety Unit are hosting webinars highlighting common issues that are reported online, and how to protect yourself and your family.
The sessions are:
Thursday 3 October, 6.30pm: Cyber Awareness and avoiding scams. Join via the Microsoft Teams link.
Thursday 15 October, 3.45pm: Learn about Financially Motivated Sexual Exploitation online (FMSE aka Sextortion), a session for parents, carers and those who work with teenagers. You can join the meeting via Microsoft Teams.
If you can’t make these sessions, follow Derbyshire Police Online Safety on Facebook to hear about future events.
Our Cybercrime Unit also offer webinars and in person talks to community groups, Neighbourhood Watch, and beyond. To find out more email [email protected].
