This site is a beta, which means it's a work in progress and we'll be adding more to it over the next few weeks. Your feedback helps us make things better, so please let us know what you think.
If you think yourself or a friend may have been spiked, speaking to someone quickly is the key.
As part of the national Spiking Week of Intensification, we’re raising awareness of exactly what you can do if you think you’ve been spiked.
If you report it to us as soon as possible, there are lots of options to help confirm and investigate what has happened. We can take a sample that can be used for testing – this is completely your choice, and this will only be done once we have your consent.
Some drugs stay in your system for only a short amount of time, so might not be found if you leave it too long. Other drugs do stay in the body longer, so whilst it is always better to act quickly, it might be possible to test you up to seven days after the incident.
However, we want to hear from you if you think you’ve been spiked – no matter when this happened.
