Witnesses sought after teenager assaulted in Glossop

Officers want to speak to witnesses to an assault in Glossop.

The incident took place at around 8pm on Sunday, April 21, in Market Street.

A large group of young people were in the area with reports that a 14-year-old girl was assaulted by around four other youths.

It is understood that a number of people witnessed the incident – in particular we would like to speak to a couple who attempted to separate those involved.
