Officers continue to work alongside colleagues from the fire service to ascertain the cause of the fire at All Saints’ Church, Mackworth, that took place last night (3 Dec).
The enquiries into the incident are at an early stage, however, a teenage boy from the Derby area has been arrested on suspicion of arson in relation to the incident.
At this time there is no evidence to link this incident to any of the other incidents in the city, however, we are of course keeping an open mind.
