We’re celebrating 20 years of the role of Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) within England and Wales.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the PCSOs who continue to make our communities safer. We’ve had PCSOs within Derbyshire Police for 16 years, with PCSO Badham-Spalding and PCSO Porter within the first two cohorts. Our officers have grown from strength to strength and provide vital work in keeping our streets safe.

The role of PCSO is a rewarding and community focusing job, that allows the officer to interact and build relationships directly within their community.
