As the festive period is fast approaching, there will be an increase in couriers making deliveries throughout the county.
With the heightened number of deliveries this also creates more opportunities for criminals. Anyone making deliveries is urged to not leave their keys in their vehicle and to make sure it is locked, even if you can see your vehicle, it only takes a few seconds for a criminal to steal it.
If you notice anyone acting suspiciously when out delivering, you should report this to us using the contact methods below or by ringing 999 if a crime is happening at the time.
So far, we have had one report of a robbery, in Wiltshire Road, Chaddesden, on Tuesday 15 November between 3.00pm and 3.30pm. The van was later recovered, however some items in the van were stolen.
