We enjoyed another fantastic Caribbean Carnival in Derby on Sunday.
Every year we are blown away by the vibrant event, with fantastic costumes and performances from a range of local groups.
Some of our officers set out a stall at Osmaston Park so that they could speak with the community and hear more about how we can work together.
There were a small number of arrests that took place following an incident outside of the carnival and quick work from officers meant that the arrests happened quickly for the safety of all those in attendance.
We are so glad that the weather held out, we hope that those who attended enjoyed themselves.
We look forward to next year’s event, which will mark the 50 year anniversary of Derby’s Caribbean Carnival.
