Looking for something different to do with your spare time?
We caught up with Special Constable Williams, who is new to his volunteer role and has spent his last few months getting stuck into a range of shifts.
Our special constables are dedicated individuals who after a hard day at work, still have the enthusiasm and passion it takes to devote some of their free time to help others.
If policing the football takes your fancy, then alike SC Williams, you can request to work on matchdays. Whereas if it’s policing our streets at night and keeping the city’s evening drinkers safe that you would enjoy, then working a Friday evening has your name on it.
If we've piqued your interest, you can learn more about the role on our website.
