A man has been charged with drugs offences after a car was stopped in Belper.
Officers received information that a BMW had been seen in the town and the driver was allegedly acting suspiciously.
On Thursday 10 October, officers stopped the car on Matlock Road.
The driver was later charged with possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance.
Awais Mohammed (22) of Olivier Street, Derby, appeared before magistrates in Chesterfield the next day, where he was remanded into prison custody.
The BMW was seized.
