Detectives investigating an attempted ATM theft in Baslow are appealing for the public’s help.
The incident occurred at 2.15am today (Sunday, 29 March) at the Co-op store in Calver Road, Baslow.
The thieves cut their way into the store and attempted to use a rope attached to a 4x4 vehicle to remove the ATM.
Despite their best attempts they did not succeed and they left the scene empty handed.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone with information about the incident, in particular anyone was in the area at the time and any drivers who may have dashcam footage of the incident and those involved.
