Further arrests as part of murder investigation in Killamarsh

Officers investigating an alleged murder in Killamarsh have today (Monday 5 April) arrested a further two people.
A 24-year-old man and 29-year-old woman, both from Sheffield, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody.
Ricky Collins, from Sheffield, was found seriously injured in Westthorpe Road last Monday (29 March) after reportedly being assaulted.
The 31-year-old had suffered stab wounds and sadly later died in hospital.
A murder investigation was subsequently launched and two men have been charged with the offence of assisting an offender.
A 43-year-old man from Sheffield appeared before Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court on Saturday 3 April and was remanded into prison custody.
Martin Mongan was arrested on Friday in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. The 44-year-old appeared before Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court today and was also remanded into custody.
A 16-year-old boy from Sheffield who was arrested on suspicion of murder last week has been bailed pending further inquiries.
