A 23-year-old man has been charged and remanded in custody following an aggravated burglary in Buxton.
Momodoulumi Sowe was arrested following the incident in Fairfield Road, Buxton, on Sunday 31 January.
It is alleged that, at around 10.30pm, he burgled a house whilst armed with a knife.
Momodoulumi Sowe, of Fairfield Road, was charged with aggravated burglary and possession of a knife in a public place and appeared yesterday (3 February) at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded to prison.
Officers investigating the incident are also appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident to get in touch in order to help with their enquiries.
