Appeal for witnesses after assault outside pub in Middleton

Officers investigating an incident that left a man with a broken arm are appealing for witnesses to come forward and help with enquiries.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was allegedly assaulted during a fight with several other men outside The Rising Sun pub in Rise End, Middleton, near Wirksworth at around 8.55pm on Wednesday 21 July.

The victim was taken to hospital where it was found he had sustained a broken arm.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with information about the moments leading up it.
