We are appealing for three men seen near the scene where a man had abuse shouted at him in Heanor to contact us.
We were contacted just before 3.50am on Monday 8 May reporting a man had been verbally abused and threatened outside Heanor Leisure Centre in Hands Road, Heanor.
An investigation has been launched into the incident which happened just after 8.35pm on Sunday 7 May, when the victim was walking his dog.
We are now keen to speak to three men seen near the scene at the time of the incident as they may have important information which can help with our enquiries.
If you are one of the men, saw anything suspicious in the area between 8pm and 9pm on the Sunday, or have information which can help us, we would like to talk to you.
