Appeal for witnesses after a robbery in Chesterfield

We are appealing for witnesses to come forward as part of our investigation into a robbery in Chesterfield.

We were called just after 4.45pm on Wednesday 26 July following a report that several high valued items had been taken from a van on the A617.

The victim was parked in a layby heading out of Chesterfield when a man, dressed in all black, got into the passenger side of the van.

Several items were then taken from the back of the van before the offenders fled the scene in a white Volkswagen Polo.

We are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious between 4.30pm and 5pm on Wednesday 26 July on the A617, to contact us.
