Appeal after flowers and an urn are stolen from graveside in High Peak

We are appealing for witnesses to come forward after some flowers and an urn was taken from a grave in the High Peak.

We were called to a report of the theft from the grave of fashion designer Dame Vivian Westwood in Chapel Brow in Tintwistle just after 6.20pm on Sunday 28 May.

We are continuing with our investigation into the incident and would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between midnight on Sunday 21 May and midday on Sunday 28 May, to contact us.
