We are appealing for a woman seen near the scene of a theft in Chesterfield town centre to come forward as part of our investigation as she may have important information.
We were called to the branch of Tesco in Low Pavement, Chesterfield just before 12.40pm on Thursday 25 May following a report of a theft.
The victim, a man in his 80s, had his wallet taken after it had fallen onto the floor of the supermarket.
Since the incident happen our officers have been gathering evidence including CCTV footage and we are appealing for the woman seen in the image to contact us as we believe she may have important information which will be able to help us with our investigation.
