We have concluded our investigation into the death of two people at a property in Clay Cross and are not looking for anyone else in connection with it.
We were called at 10.30am on Sunday 10 September to a property in Pankhurst Place following a report of two fatalities.
The investigation into the deaths of a man and woman in their 70s has concluded that it is an isolated incident.
We are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation and the family are aware and are being supported by specialist officers.
Formal identification has now been completed and a file is being prepared for HM Coroner.
