Investigation launched after two people are found dead in Clay Cross

We have launched an investigation after two people were found dead in a property in Clay Cross.

We were called at 10.30am on Sunday 10 September to a property in Pankhurst Place following a report of two fatalities.

Enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances, currently no one else is being sought and it remains an isolated incident.

Formal identification is still to be established, family members have been informed as has HM Coroner, Home Office post mortems have also been arranged.
