The trio stole a number of DeWalt branded tools and left the scene in a White Audi A3.
The same group are also believed to have stolen a chainsaw from a van parked on Meadow Lane, Derby, sometime after 7.30pm on Wednesday 11 December.
Officers were able to arrest one of the men later that night.
