Officers investigating the theft of a car from Swadlincote are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
The offenders, pictured in the below image, broke into the house before stealing a key and leaving in the victim’s car – a black Volkswagen Golf.
The incident took place in Lewisham Drive, Swadlincote, at 1.40pm on Friday, May 3.
The following day, Saturday May 4, the car was found in Leicester and was recovered by officers from the city.
Officers want to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time the vehicle was stolen – in particular drivers with dashcam that may have captured the thieves.
If you have footage that may be of use to officers please ensure that you download the video and keep it securely for an officer to view.
