Officers investigating the theft of a scooter are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward to help their enquiries.
The incident occurred at 9.40pm on Friday 7 August in Tutbury Avenue, Littleover.
The 19-year-old owner was riding a red Lexmoto scooter when a motorcycle pulled in front of him and the rider and pillion forced him off his scooter and rode off.
A number of cars were in the area at the time of the incident and officers want to speak to any drivers who witnessed the incident – in particular any drivers with dashcam footage.
