A teenage boy has been arrested following an alleged arson attack at a church in Quarndon.
The incident saw St Paul’s Church, in Church Road, damaged sometime between the evening of Thursday 15 October and the early afternoon of Friday 16 October.
A 17-year-old boy from Derby was arrested on suspicion of arson on Friday evening and he has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may be able to help detectives with their enquiries.
