A man has been remanded in prison following an alleged robbery and attempted robbery in Derby.
Luke Hadley was arrested in connection with two incidents in Chaddesden on the evening of Monday 12 April.
The first incident, an alleged attempted robbery, took place at a shop in Wood Road at around 9.05pm where a shop keeper was threatened and demands for money were made.
The second incident, an alleged robbery, happened at a shop in Nottingham Road at around 10.10pm. Staff were threatened and a small amount of money was handed over.
On Tuesday the 29-year-old, of no-fixed abode, was charged with robbery, attempted robbery and possession of an offensive weapon. He appeared at South Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court yesterday (14 April) where he was remanded to prison to appear before court at a future date.
