Two men have been charged following a drugs warrant in Derby.
Mark Russell and Scott Morley were both arrested on Tuesday 6 April following a search at an address on Bath Street.
They were also arrested in connection with a warrant which took place in March on Crecy Close, Stockbrook.
Morley (37) of no fixed address, and Russell (35) of Bath Street, were both charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
They appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrate’s Court on Thursday 8 March and were given court bail, to appear at Derby Crown Court later in the year.
Sergeant Ben Wildman of the Safer Neighbourhood policing team covering the Stockbrook and Littleover area said: “We are committed to tackling drug misuse in our area and to protect the communities we serve from the misery and harm that can be associated with this type of crime.
“Our work often relies on the support of the local community, and I would encourage residents to contact us with any information or concerns about drug misuse.”
