A teenager from Derby has been charged with attempted murder and GBH are an assault in the city centre this weekend.
The charges relate to the stabbing of two men, aged 22 and 17, in Cheapside in the early hours of Saturday 14 August.
The two victims remain in hospital.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court today charged with attempted murder, GBH and possession of a knife in a public place.
He was remanded to prison and will next appear at Derby Crown Court on 13 September.
