Two teenagers arrested after 23-year-old man stabbed in Spondon

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a man in Spondon.
Officers were called to reports that a man had attended the Queens Medical Centre with serious injuries believed to have been as a result of a stabbing.
Following enquiries, it was discovered that the incident had taken place behind Spondon Asda, Derby, between 6pm and 6.30pm on Sunday (11 July).
The man, aged 23 and from Nottingham, remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Yesterday (12 July) two boys, aged 16 and 17, were arrested in connection with the offence. The pair, who are from the Derby area, remain in police custody.
Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and may be able to help them with their enquiries.
