A 27-year-old man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a fatal collision in Derby on Saturday evening.
The force was called to reports of a collision in Harvey Road at around 8pm on Saturday 20 November. A 17-year-old pedestrian, Keely Birks, suffered fatal injuries and died at hospital.

The 27-year-old, of no fixed abode, was remanded in police custody and is due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court today (23 Nov).
