Officers have charged a man in connection with a stabbing in Derby last month.
The incident, which saw an 18-year-old suffer serious injuries, took place at a house in Campbell Street, Allenton, at 2.25pm on Tuesday 29 March.
Yesterday (6 April) Malika Watts was charged with an alleged section 18 wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
The 21-year-old, of no fixed abode, appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court today (7 April) where he was remanded to prison. He will next appear at court on 5 May.
Another man, an 18-year-old from Derby, who was arrested in connection with the incident has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
