Officers have charged a man with drug offences after £24,000 and a substantial amount of cocaine was found after a car was stopped in a Derbyshire town.
Officers from the SALCU road crime team stopped the vehicle, a Kia Sportage, in Godric Place, Woodville, on 8 April and then searched a nearby property.
At the house a substantial amount of cash and cocaine were located.
Harvey Yeomans was arrested and subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of criminal property.
The 31-year-old of Ashby Road, Woodville, appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on 11 April where he was remanded to prison.
