A man who died following a serious collision on Mansfield Road in Derby has been named as Allan Reeve.
Officers were called to the collision, involving a Vauxhall combo van, near Rollerworld at around 7.45pm on Saturday 18 June.
Allan had been a passenger in the van, and the 42-year-old died at the scene. His family are being offered support by specially trained officers. Our thoughts are with them at this time.
A 62-year-old man, who was also a passenger, remains in hospital in a critical condition.
Allan’s family have kindly shared a picture with us but have asked that the media respect their privacy at this time.
The driver, a 40-year-old man, was arrested at the time of the incident on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He is currently on police bail pending further enquiries.
