A man has been arrested after a serious assault at a pub in Derby.
The 24-year-old man from Chaddesden has been arrested following the incident that took place at The Merlin on Orient Way, near to Pride Park, just after 8.35pm on Sunday 20 November.
The 67-year-old victim was found injured in the car park and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
The man, who was arrested on suspicion of GBH, violent disorder and possession of cannabis, has been released on bail as enquiries continue.
