A woman has been jailed and three people have been arrested in connection with a burglary in Alvaston.
The burglary occurred in the early hours of Sunday 6 August at a property in Gillamoor Court.
A woman in her 30s has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and aggravated vehicle taking. A woman in her 20s has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, aggravated vehicle taking and handling stolen goods.
Both have been released on bail as enquiries continue.
A 38-year-old man from Derby has been charged with burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, theft from a motor vehicle, driving whilst disqualified and using a vehicle without insurance.
He appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 8 August when he was remanded in custody.
Tamara Selby, 32, of Radnor Street, Derby, was charged with four counts of fraud by false representation and aggravated vehicle taking.
She admitted the charges at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 8 August and was jailed for 40 weeks, ordered to pay £329.38 compensation and banned from driving for a year.
