The break-in of the property near Cromford Road occurred on 16 November and saw a number of possessions stolen.
Among the items taken was a Police Long Service Medal that was awarded to the victim’s late husband who served with Derbyshire Constabulary.
The medal, which marks 20 years of service in the force, was awarded in 1989/90 and was inscribed with the officer’s rank and collar number - PC 566 – and is like the one pictured.
Also taken during the incident was a red Volkswagen Golf, which was later recovered in Derby.
Three men and a teenaged boy, all from Derby, were arrested in connection with the incident, with two of the men – one in his 50s and another in his 20s, along with the teenager, have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
